Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Eligible for and willing to receive direct supervision by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience providing speech/language therapy services in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong ability to facilitate engaging therapy sessions primarily in small groups
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students, primarily in group settings
- Collaborate with your supervising SLP to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collect data, maintain session notes, and document student progress in accordance with school standards
- Monitor student performance and communicate observations and concerns to the supervising SLP
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
