Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based opportunity in New Bern, NC for the 2026–2027 school year.

- Consistent Monday–Friday school schedule
- Caseload and school assignment will be discussed during the interview
- Collaborative team of educators and related service professionals
- New graduates and experienced SLPAs are encouraged to apply
SLPA Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and communication needs
- Collect data and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and the supervising SLP
- Participate in IEP-related activities and student support meetings as appropriate
- Help students develop communication skills that support success in the classroom
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field, as applicable
- Current North Carolina SLPA license/registration or eligibility
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
