Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active North Carolina SLPA license is required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and team members
- Ability to adapt techniques and strategies to meet varying student needs
- Passion for facilitating student success in a collaborative setting
- Organizational skills to manage responsibilities and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of student treatment plans designed by certified SLPs
- Provide direct therapy to students, individually and in small groups, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Collect data and assist with progress monitoring and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and SLPs to support students’ educational plans
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and documentation
