Position Details:
- Contract engagement beginning ASAP through May 21, 2027
- Commitment for at least 3 days per week, allowing for flexibility in your schedule
- Work with elementary school students as well as one high school student receiving targeted AAC support (90 minutes monthly)
- Located near Montrose, CO
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid, active Colorado SLPA license (please provide a current screenshot with your application)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Comfortable supporting both individual students and small groups
- Familiarity with AAC devices a plus, especially for supporting nonverbal students
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to engage with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to identified students across multiple sites
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs to carry out IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide speech support, including for a high schooler utilizing assistive technology
- Assist with screenings, IEP meetings, and data collection as needed
