Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure/registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
- Familiarity with educational IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, SLPs, and school staff
- Strong organizational skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
- Clinical experience in healthcare or school environments is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as outlined by supervising SLPs and individual education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with screening, assessment, and data collection under SLP guidance
- Support the development and implementation of therapeutic activities in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate regularly with educational staff and families to foster positive outcomes
