Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Burney, CA

In this contract opportunity, you'll work closely with a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), providing hands-on assistance and direct support to help students thrive in their communication goals. Key Qualifications:
- Completed SLPA program and possess necessary certification/licensure (or eligibility) in California
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K–12 setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with virtual and onsite staff
- Comfortable with technology to support virtual SLP services
- Organized, responsible, and enthusiastic about working in an educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language interventions under the supervision of a virtual SLP, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with direct and indirect therapy sessions, classroom support, and implementation of speech-related activities
- Collect and document student progress data accurately for reporting and review
- Communicate regularly with teachers, SLPs, and other staff to ensure consistency in therapy services
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and positive school environment for all students
