You’ll support K-12th grade caseloads, offering direct intervention and engaging communication support for students of varying abilities. With your expertise, you’ll help implement therapy plans designed by Speech-Language Pathologists, track student progress, and contribute to a positive school experience.
Key Qualifications:
- SLPA license or certification required
- Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity working with K-12 populations
- Ability to adapt approaches for a wide student age range
- Strong organizational skills and dedication to supporting learning goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support under supervisor direction
- Assist in developing and delivering therapy materials for diverse student needs
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and family members
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support teams as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
