In this contract role, you'll be a key resource, working closely alongside a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver essential speech and language support services. This position is based near McArthur, CA, and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your schedule.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a remote SLP to carry out therapy sessions and intervention plans for K-12 students.
- Assist in administering speech and language assessments under SLP guidance.
- Support data collection, prepare instructional materials, and track student progress.
- Engage in direct and indirect student services as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP team communication.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and success.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification, meeting state-specific regulations.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational or clinical setting.
- Ability to support students with various communication needs effectively.
- Comfortable using technology to interface with a virtual SLP and document services.
- Reliable organizational skills and clear communication abilities.
- Adaptable and receptive to feedback and supervision.
