Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in educational or pediatric environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to implement IEP goals under SLP supervision
- Organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced school setting
- Collaborative spirit to work effectively with educators, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students as guided by supervising SLP
- Assist in conducting assessments and documenting student progress
- Implement therapy plans and individualized communication interventions
- Prepare and organize materials for speech and language sessions
- Participate in team meetings to support academic and communication goals
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with school and state guidelines
