A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services through telespeech within a school setting in Ketchikan, Alaska. This role requires delivering high-quality speech therapy remotely, supporting students' communication needs with tailored interventions.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in pediatrics
• Proficiency in telespeech services, providing therapy through virtual platforms
• Possession of a Type C Special Services Certificate for Alaska is mandatory
• Previous work experience in Alaska schools is preferred
• Ability to obtain professional liability insurance before assignment commencement

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing speech and language therapy for students via telespeech
• Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation complying with regulatory standards
• Ensuring adherence to confidentiality and professional guidelines in all communications

Contract Details:

• 1099 contractor status
• 32.5 hours per week
