Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Valid CA SLPA license (or eligibility)
- School-based SLPA experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt to dynamic educational settings
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- For SLPs: active CA SLP license and supervisory experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students at both middle and elementary school sites
- Follow a consistent schedule: VPMS (Tues/Thurs) & IILA (Mon/Fri), 32 hours weekly for SLPA
- Manage caseloads: 17 at VPMS, 16 at IILA
- SLP duties: complete assessments, supervise the SLPA, attend IEP meetings, contribute to goal planning, and document all services
- Work collaboratively with other related service providers and educational staff
