Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certified as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Recent experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred.
  • Skilled at working with diverse student populations, particularly grades TK–8.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans, adapt to evolving needs, and collaborate with supervising SLPs and school staff.
  • Committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and the preparation of materials.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families.
  • Support diverse learners in both group and one-on-one settings, adjusting strategies to meet individualized goals.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
