Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLPA licensure required
- Must have completed all necessary clinical hours; candidates in progress will not be considered
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills strongly preferred
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting with children and adolescents
- Fingerprinting through TEA required for credentialing (allow up to 10 business days)
- Committed to on-site engagement; this position is not open to virtual/remote work
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to K-12 students at a single school site (final assignment to be confirmed)
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, providing therapy and support as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Track and document student progress, prepare session notes, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment for students of various ages and backgrounds
