Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in California
- Previous experience assisting with speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Positive, professional communication style and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with supervising SLP virtually
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently within a school environment
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy interventions under the guidance of a supervising SLP, primarily serving K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and document student progress
- Assist in conducting screenings and informal assessments as assigned
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed
