Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred
- Solid understanding of speech and language interventions for school environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and a positive attitude for adapting to new settings
- Commitment to maintaining documentation and supporting IEPs
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver direct speech and language services under SLP supervision as outlined by students’ IEPs
- Support SLPs with evaluations and progress monitoring
- Prepare engaging materials and activities for therapy sessions
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Accurately document session notes and maintain student records in accordance with regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
