- Valid Pennsylvania SLPA license or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting students’ diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct and indirect support to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of sessions
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate speech interventions into the classroom
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of therapy materials
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
