- Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow therapy plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements and professional ethics
Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in carrying out speech-language therapy sessions according to prescribed plans
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Track and document student progress, reporting updates to the supervising SLP
- Prepare or organize therapy materials and resources as needed
- Support an engaging, positive, and inclusive environment for all students
