Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Franklin, NC

This contract position begins in October and offers the opportunity to work closely with students across 2–3 local schools, including elementary, middle, and high school settings. You’ll be vital in supporting a caseload of 73 students, collaborating with educators, and helping to guide students toward their communication goals.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active SLPA license and eligibility to practice in educational settings
- Previous experience working with school-aged students preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and the ability to engage with diverse student populations
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Work Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, supporting students across caseload
- Implement speech and language interventions under the supervision of an SLP
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report results
- Collaborate with other educational team members and families as needed
- Assist in classroom activities and adapt materials to individual student needs
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
