Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA license required
- Proven experience working as an SLPA in school settings
- Professional fluency in Spanish
- Knowledgeable and skilled in AAC
- Comfortable engaging with students of all ages, particularly those in specialized classrooms (primarily Autism support)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Directly support communication development for students across two school campuses (specific sites to be determined)
- Work closely with lead SLPs and school staff to implement IEPs and individualized communication plans
- Provide therapy and support both in small groups and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and data as required
- Adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse learners, tailoring support to unique student needs
- Foster meaningful connections with staff, families, and students
In this role, you will enjoy a full-time, school-year schedule with 37.5 hours per week onsite, providing consistency and the rewarding opportunity to follow student progress.
