Key Qualifications:

  • Active California SLPA license required
  • Proven experience working as an SLPA in school settings
  • Professional fluency in Spanish
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in AAC
  • Comfortable engaging with students of all ages, particularly those in specialized classrooms (primarily Autism support)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Directly support communication development for students across two school campuses (specific sites to be determined)
  • Work closely with lead SLPs and school staff to implement IEPs and individualized communication plans
  • Provide therapy and support both in small groups and one-on-one settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and data as required
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse learners, tailoring support to unique student needs
  • Foster meaningful connections with staff, families, and students

In this role, you will enjoy a full-time, school-year schedule with 37.5 hours per week onsite, providing consistency and the rewarding opportunity to follow student progress.
