Elementary Middle School School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Naples, Florida

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure or state certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Comfort and adaptability in supporting students across various age groups—from elementary to high school
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and supporting documentation
- Positive, empathetic, and patient demeanor with students of diverse backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and track progress
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and activities tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance each student’s communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate therapy records and report on student progress as required
- Support the SLP with assessments, screenings, and documentation as needed
