What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in supporting a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, ranging in age from elementary to middle school
- Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple school locations as needed
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours/week), with potential part-time flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Help implement IEP goals for individual and group sessions
- Support data collection and progress monitoring for each student’s therapy
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and other therapists to encourage a positive, supportive learning environment
- Complete all required documentation, reporting, and communication with accountability and accuracy
Additional Details:
- Contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027
- Work across multiple campuses based on student needs
- Fingerprinting and credentialing required; transfers and verifications available if previously completed in FL school districts
