Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license (required)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not required
- Must be available for on-site services only
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other SLPs, staff, students, and families
- Willingness to travel between multiple campus locations as needed
- Fingerprinting clearance (recent prints via AHCA Clearinghouse may be transferrable—see details)
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Document student progress according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Support classroom teams through collaborative consultation
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed
