Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Texas SLP Assistant license
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting, or strong interest in school-based practice
- Solid understanding of evidence-based interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and encouraging student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in developing and implementing goals tailored to each student
- Support thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student learning
- Contribute to screenings, data collection, and informal assessments
- Help maintain a positive, engaging therapeutic environment
