Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold a current SLPA license/certification in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred
- Strong rapport-building skills with elementary-aged children
- Comfort with documentation platforms and digital tools
- Knowledge of IEP processes and SHARS documentation a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to assigned elementary students under SLP supervision
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and staff to support student communication goals
- Utilize the SLP Toolkit for documentation, including session notes and SHARS entries
- Record service minutes on the district’s IEP minute-tracking platform
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students' speech and language development
