Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active, valid California SLPA license
- Has a minimum of 3 months of hands-on SLPA experience in an educational setting
- Thrives when working collaboratively, especially with remote supervision
- Communicates effectively with students, staff, and families
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable, though not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct intervention services to elementary students as prescribed by supervising SLP
- Implement speech and language activities under supervision, focusing on receptive, expressive, and pragmatic communication skills
- Document progress competently and accurately according to school and supervisor guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support student success
- Participate in regular virtual meetings with the supervising SLP to maintain alignment and ensure quality of care
