Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license issued by Massachusetts or an appropriate state credential
  • Previous experience working with K-5 or elementary-aged students is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and organized approach to student care
  • Ability to work onsite and manage flexible movement across school buildings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement individualized student goals and treatment plans with creativity and empathy
  • Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records
  • Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and achievements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
  • Travel between elementary school buildings while maintaining a consistent, supportive presence for students

This is a full-time leave coverage role beginning September 29 and continuing through December 23, offering up to 35 hours per week.
