With full-time 37.5-hour work weeks and multiple positions, you’ll collaborate alongside educators and professionals to deliver individualized care to a diverse student caseload, including mild/moderate to moderate/severe needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants; mentorship available for CFYs.
- Prior experience in school-based settings or with K-12 populations preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to provide therapy to students with both mild/moderate and moderate/severe communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 students, K-12.
- Conduct evaluations and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments.
- Document session notes, progress reports, and comply with all district and state requirements.
- Provide education and strategies to families and classroom staff.
- Attend team meetings and engage in ongoing professional growth.
