Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active or eligible for DE state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of best practices for serving K-12 populations
- Comfortable addressing a variety of communication disorders and tailoring interventions to individualized needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress
- Provide direct therapy to K-12 students with a wide range of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and parents to support students’ educational experience
- Employ evidence-based practices, adjusting strategies according to student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
