Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Minnesota Department of Education Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
- Experience or training in educational settings, specifically with middle and high school students, is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement engaging intervention plans and monitor student progress
Core Duties:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services as directed by student IEPs
- Collaborate with educational staff to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
- Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans and regularly report on student progress
- Assist with assessments, documentation, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in professional development and contribute actively to the school’s multidisciplinary team
