Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position for the upcoming school year with districts in the Bradenton, Florida area.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered. Requirements typically include:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress
Completion of required clinical fellowship (if applicable)
Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Ability to pass required background checks and district onboarding requirements
Typical responsibilities for this role include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations for students
Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
Participating in IEP meetings and parent consultations
Supporting communication development across educational environments
