Speech Language Pathologist in Woodland Park, CO
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ speech and language development in a dynamic school environment. This contract position spans the upcoming academic year—from August 11 to May 28—and is tailored for a qualified professional passionate about helping K-12 learners succeed. With the flexibility to select your preferred grade levels and an assignment at one or two closely located sites, you’ll be able to focus on collaboration, connection, and effective service delivery.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Solid understanding of assessment tools and methods for monitoring student progress
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and evidence-based, school-based service delivery
- Strong relationship-building skills with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptable, student-centered, and proactive mindset
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is a plus
- Valid, or eligibility for, Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with Special Services endorsement
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, and collaborative teamwork

- Develop and manage IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct assessments and ongoing progress monitoring
- Deliver school-based speech and language services in alignment with current best practices
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
