School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming academic year, conveniently located near Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time position spans from August 11 through May 28, serving students from kindergarten through high school. Placement across one or two nearby sites (less than a mile apart) can be tailored to your preference, offering both consistency and manageable travel. Contractors will be interviewed at the end of May for the next school year.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and monitoring student progress
- In-depth understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks
- Experience delivering effective speech-language services within school settings
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, families, and educational staff
- Flexible, student-focused, and solutions-oriented attitude
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology highly preferred
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with Special Services endorsement, or eligibility to obtain
- Relevant experience working with students in K-12 educational settings ideal
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
