Position Details
- Location: Athens, GA
- Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 21, 2027
- Caseload: Elementary
- Additional caseload and school assignment details will be discussed during the interview.
What You'll Do
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy activities.
- Support students in meeting their communication goals through individual and small group sessions.
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service logs.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student success.
- Follow district, state, and federal guidelines regarding documentation and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and/or required state certification.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Experience providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- $30-$40/hour, based on experience
