Qualifications & Certifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (GA SLPA) credential required
- Previous experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload under supervision from a certified SLP
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing individualized student programs following IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as required
- Adapt activities and strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language goals within the classroom setting
Contract Details:
- Start as soon as possible, with assignments lasting through May 21, 2027
- Full-time opportunity: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Work specifically with elementary student caseloads
