What we’re seeking:
- Current GA licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates with credentials are welcome
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage and organize caseload responsibilities efficiently
- Commitment to fostering student growth in a supportive educational environment
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed SLP
- Track and document student progress, goals, and session notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with school faculty and families to support students’ individual needs and promote generalization of skills
- Support classroom teachers with strategies for facilitating student communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports as needed
