Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Aransas Pass, TX

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLPA licensure required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to meeting time-sensitive credentialing, including completion of fingerprinting as needed
- Professionalism and a collaborative approach in a multi-disciplinary environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language services for students across one or more campuses (school assignments to be determined)
- Work closely with supervising SLPs and other school staff to implement student care plans
- Support PreK-12 students, as assigned, with tailored interventions and therapy
- Complete thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a positive advocate for students’ communication needs and help ensure smooth program delivery during this critical start-of-year period
This contract covers 35 hours per week, beginning August 10th through September 25th. You’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of care and supporting student growth during a period of transition.
