Qualifications & Certifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification required
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Familiarity with school-based settings and IEP documentation preferred
- Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and a passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Details:
- Start Date: August 2026
- End Date: May 2027
- Contract spans the full academic year (26/27 School Year)
- 30 hours per week, scheduled over 4-5 days
- Work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Support speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement targeted interventions as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Assist with screenings, data collection, and progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support students’ communication needs
- Provide direct therapy to individuals or small groups as needed
