- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations, particularly within school environments
- Knowledge of IEP processes and evaluations in school settings
- Familiarity with providing both small group and individual speech services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in elementary and middle grades
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to shape individualized plans
- Deliver direct therapy through small group and individual sessions targeting a range of needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with district and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for parents and staff, providing strategies for classroom and home communication success
