Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Big Lake, Minnesota

Your week will be structured across 40 hours, Monday through Friday, delivering both small group and one-on-one services. You’ll collaborate closely with educational staff and families, ensuring each student receives the individualized attention they deserve. The role offers a balance of direct intervention, evaluations, and participation in IEP meetings, making each day rewarding and impactful.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Active Minnesota SLP License
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings encouraged, but strong entry-level candidates welcome
- Familiarity with the IEP process, developing goals, and documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of children in an educational environment
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for assigned students
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and collaborate on goal setting
- Provide small group and individual speech-language therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough progress documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other school staff
