This contract-based, onsite opportunity offers a dynamic caseload in a supportive educational environment located near Yuba City, California. Key Skills & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting (PreK-12 preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals
- Positive, proactive approach to supporting a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for communication and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Maintain thorough and accurate student records according to regulations
- Consult with classroom teachers and provide strategies to support student learning
- Engage families and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Deliver services onsite, fostering student engagement and growth
This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, running from August 2026 through June 2027. As a valued part of the educational community, you will have the chance to make a lasting difference for students at all grade levels.
