Qualifications:
- Hold a valid California SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license
- Prior school-based SLP experience or familiarity with K-12 populations is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Committed to fostering student growth and advocating for inclusive educational practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out speech-language interventions under SLP supervision, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect and document data for progress monitoring and goal achievement
- Assist with articulation, language, and social communication therapy
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support generalization of communication skills across settings
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as needed
