Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood speech, language, and communication disorders
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to connect with students, families, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized goals and therapy plans for students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain diligent progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer direct therapy, consultation, and support within both individual and group settings
- Help facilitate students’ integration and engagement in the classroom environment
