Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active (or eligible) Michigan SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based environments strongly valued
- Ability to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing articulation, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions—individually and in small groups—utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Maintain accurate and prompt documentation in accordance with school/district guidelines
- Provide support and consultation for educators and families to generalize therapy strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student IEPs
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports optimal student outcomes
