Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Warren, Michigan

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- State licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Background in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings a plus
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech, language, or communication concerns
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in compliance with school guidelines
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to student reviews and meetings
- Partner with educators and caregivers to create supportive interventions
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment that promotes each student’s academic and personal growth
