With a 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll collaborate with educators and other specialists to help students achieve their communication and academic goals.
Desired skills and credentials:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Mississippi SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong clinical fellows (CFY) welcomed
- Experience in educational settings (schools, K-12) and with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with assessments, evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP documentation
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms a plus
- Comfortable working with a caseload spanning mild to moderate special and general education needs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate in eligibility/IEP meetings
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Utilize digital tools for teletherapy as needed
