Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Serve students across varied disabilities within both general and special education settings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Mississippi State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Experience working in school-based and pediatric settings preferred
  • Knowledge of teletherapy service delivery is a plus
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and IEP development

Location and Schedule:

  • Contract role based in Yazoo City, MS, supporting K-12 students
  • Expected start date as soon as possible, through June 2023
  • 37.5 hours per week commitment
  • May also work in nearby locations including Jackson, Rolling Fork, and Vicksburg, MS
