Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Woonsocket, RI

Choose from a range of caseload focuses: standard PK–12 mixed caseloads, Early Childhood/Preschool with more localized groups, or Bilingual tracks assisting students who use multiple languages at home. The position is designed for certified Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in the educational journey of every learner.
Key Qualifications:
- Eligible for or currently holding a RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is ideal
- Familiarity with AAC/assistive technology is preferred
- SLPAs and CFs are not eligible due to supervision regulations
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy and complete student assessments
- Set up, monitor, and support assistive technology and AAC devices
- Manage required documentation and compliance paperwork
- Advise families and collaborate with teachers to support student learning
- Adapt to fluid caseloads—average around 60 students, though assignment may shift depending on school needs
- Foster communication skills in a linguistically and culturally rich environment
