What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school environment serving PK–12 students
- Skilled in direct therapy, student assessments, and AAC/assistive tech implementation
- Bilingual fluency a plus (for bilingual therapy track consideration)
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across PK–12, with specialized tracks in Early Childhood, mixed caseloads, or Bilingual settings
- Provide evaluations, develop IEP goals, and manage documentation
- Set up and oversee AAC and other assistive technology devices
- Participate in team meetings and consult with teachers and parents to optimize learning plans
- Manage a target caseload of approximately 60 students, with adjustments based on current vacancies and assignments
- Serve as a resource for culturally and linguistically diverse populations (in a district where 55% of students come from multilingual homes)
This role is available immediately and extends through June 17, 2027, covering 35 hours per week.
