Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Rhode Island
- Clinical expertise in pediatric communication disorders
- Experience in educational or healthcare-based SLP settings (schools, teletherapy, or pediatric healthcare preferred)
- Open to candidates currently in or entering their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Comfortable providing teletherapy services as needed
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy for students
- Track student progress and adapt therapy plans to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and social development
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and share progress updates
- Leverage teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery as necessary
