What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or strong CFY candidates welcome
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with high school students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a school-based team
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice and supporting diverse learners
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with communication, language, and speech disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services both one-on-one and in group settings
- Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support academic and social-emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and empower students, staff, and families on communication strategies
