Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience with high school-aged students is preferred, though strong clinical skills with other age groups will be considered
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy services to a high school caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to address students’ communication needs in the academic setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage parents and guardians in the therapeutic process and provide ongoing updates on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team discussions
- Adapt therapies and materials to meet diverse student needs
