Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Rhode Island
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience or comfort working with high school-aged students
- Solid grasp of IEP process and documentation
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing a range of communication needs
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student goals
- Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for compliance and IEP reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
